I. tab. 73. fig. 2.   ...  **) Von φευγω, flüchten; πεδιον offenes Land.  In der Schnabelbildung der Gattung Cyphorhinus am nächsten, aber mit weniger zusammengedrücktem an der Basis breiterem, an der Spitze stärker gebogenem Schnabel mit weniger runden Nasenlöchern; Flügel und Schwanz stärker entwickelt.    ***)Wir halten den in Brasilien vorkommenden Vogel von dem Coraya des Buffon P. coraya Nob. Turdus coraya G. Lath. verschieden. Letzterer scheint vorzüglich nur in Cayenne und Guiana vorzukommen, ist kleiner als der brasilische und lebhafter gefärbt. Der brasilische Vogel ist in allen Körperverhältnissen grösser.  Das Rothbraune des Rückens und der Flügeldecken ist heller." (Cabanis 1853); "Pheugopedius Cabanis, Mus. ● “Hellmayr proposed Automulus roraimae as a new name for Philydor albigularis Salvin and Godman on grounds that it was a homonym of Philydor albogularis Spix ... 1824 ... however under the International Rules albigularis and albogularis are different names” (Peters VII 1951); “Under the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature Art. 58 (8) these two names are homonymous variable spellings and under Arts. 57 and 59 (a) primary homonyms, so Hellmayr was correct and Vaurie was wrong” (Eisennann in Vaurie 1980) (syn.
