HYLOPHILUS
(Vireonidae; Ϯ Rufous-crowned Greenlet H. poicilotis) Gr. ὑλη hulē  woodland, forest; φιλος philos  lover; "HYLOPHILE THORACHIQUE.  HYLOPHILUS THORACICUS. TEMM.  Le Mâle.- Planche 173, fig.1.  CETTE espèce et la suivante, figurées par erreur sous le nom de Becs-fins, forment le type d'un petit genre où viennent se réunir quelques espèces nouvelles, fruits des voyages récens faits au Brésil.  ...  HYLOPHILE OREILLONS TACHETÉ.  HYLOPHILUS POICILOTIS. TEMM.  Planche 173, fig. 2.  L'OREILLON tacheté porte aussi sur notre planche le nom générique de Bec-fin; on est invité de corriger cette erreur et de mettre à la place celui sous lequel nous le publions dans cet article."
