(Furnariidae; Ϯ Sharp-billed Canastero A. pyrrholeuca sordida) Gr. ασθενης asthenēs  insignificant (an epithet of the bird βουδυτης boudutēs, now associated with the Yellow Wagtail, but formerly variously identified)  < negative prefix α- a- ; σθενος sthenos  power; "LXXXVII. Asthenes RCHB. Nat. Syst. d. Vögel t. suppl. — Schnabel vollkommen gerade und spitz, Schwanzfedern gesteigert, verschmälert und abgerundet.
