Bartramia longicauda): "I have honoured it with the name of my very worthy friend, near whose Botanic Gardens, on the banks of the river Schuylkill, I first found it."; "III.Sous-genre. BARTRAMIE; Bartramia.  Les Chevaliers à large queue, Cuv.   Bec de la longueur de la tête, à mandibules légèrement renflées à l'extrémité, égales, convexes; narines basales, latérales.
