(Alcedinidae; Ϯ Príncipe Kingfisher C. nais) Gr. κορυς korus, κορυθος koruthos  helmet; ορνις ornis, ορνιθος ornithos  bird; "2) Corythornis.  4 Zehen.  Schnabel ziemlich lang, ½ und darüber länger als der Kopf, so breit als hoch und längs der Firste eine Rinne. Scheitelfedern lang, schmal, flatternd, mit schwarzem Schaftfleck und schwarzer Endspitze.  ...  II.
