(Icteridae; Ϯ Red-winged Blackbird A. phoeniceus) Gr. αγελαιος agelaios  gregarious  < αγελη agelē  herd  < αγω agō  to lead; "77. TROUPIALE, Agelaius.  Oriolus, Linn. Gm. Lath.  Bec épais à la base, convexe en dessus, entier, robuste, longicône, droit, à bords droits, ou fléchis en dedans, acuminé; mandibule supérieure prolongée en pointe sur le front, quelquefois concave à la base, près du capistrum.   3 sections.   Esp.
