(Cotingidae; Ϯ Swallow-tailed Cotinga P. flavirostris) Supposed Gr. φιβαλως phibalōs  slender (cf. φιβαλεως phibaleōs  gaunt person; φιβλα phibla  brooch; L. fibula  pin); ουρα oura  tail (e.g. "φιβαλος, slender, ουρα, a tail" (Ashmolean 1836)); "PHIBALURE, Phibalura.  Bec très-court, épais, robuste, conico-convexe; mandibule supérieure un peu arquée, échancrée. — Queue grêle, très-longue, fourchue.   Esp. nouv.
